Quay Day is the traditional opening of Burnham Sailing Week, the peak of season regatta & over the years propelled the town to international fame!
Pirates on the Quay is to celebrate our seafaring history, have some fun and support our local businesses. We look forward to our musicians The Captains Beard, The Swashbucklers and Burnhams Own 'Bassett & Fraser'.
We will pillage along the Quayside, up the high street causing mayhem, looking for Grog and Grub provisions at THE ANCHOR & THE VICTORIA INN food courts and linger outside THE SHIP and YE OLDE WHITE HARTE - without their support there would be no Quay Day, so we thank all four good hearted Landlords and Ladies for their unwavering support!!!
The Finale is music from The Captains Beard at 6.30pm at The Victoria Inn and we party till late!

For the first time we'll be swilling our own beer, courtesy of Wibblers Brewery! Phil The Butcher and his daugher LJ The Master Brewer have conconcted us a fair ale with a hint of our favourite tipple RUM! You can only buy it at The Victoria Inn and The Anchor - any profits go towards helping Carnival keep going on it's revival . . oh and we'll have a float this year aboar The Queen Annes Revenge. We cast off at 11.30 from Priors Boatyard (next to the Cabin Diary) on our vessel The Celtic Princess arriving at The Corinthian Yacht Club where we intend to land to begin our pillage of Burnham. Then we head to The Victoria Inn, the place to get your Pirate Kiddy Bags and Find the Parrott Maps!! See you on the Quay Shipmates!!!
